A house of 300 sqm designed to surprise San Gregorio di Catania in the province of Catania: the architect Tiziano Caseta has named it Gold House, for the color gold that is theme conductor of all interiors.
The villa is spread over four floors, with large garden and swimming pool.
The characteristic of the project is to have a different mood in each floor, with different variations and combinations of the gold theme, sometimes more traditional and classic, sometimes more contemporary. The designer wanted to recreate different settings at various levels, as if they were theatrical environments designed to surprise during the different moments of the day.
The architect has chosen Marazziper the coatings of Gold House: The wide variety of finishes available is in fact perfect to satisfy really the most varied design needs.
Starting from the ground floor, the atmosphere is modern with an industrial touch: a relaxation room in grayscale, with few furnishings and an interesting game of volumes and lines, thanks to a weave of birch strips bleached on the wall and ceiling. The wood-effect stoneware flooring of the Treverkhome line (15×20 format) in ash finish is perfect for giving the environment the industrial touch sought by the designer.
In The bathroom, the architect has instead decided to add a color accent by combining the wood effect stoneware with a ceramic tile coating color Limein size 20 x 50.
Going up to the first floor, the atmosphere changes completely. The interiors are in black and white, with a mood that the designer calls “radical chic”: Crystal and wood, red accents (such as Poltrona Frau’s Chester sofa) and marble.
In this context, MarmoMarazzidelle Allmarble and Evolutionmarble lines are perfect, in 60×60, 30×60 and 60×120 formats.
Going up to the last floors, were placed the bedrooms, a large bathroom and a walk-in closet of 65 square meters.
